We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time copywriter to join our Marketing Team. The copywriter will be responsible for creating strategic and engaging content for our brands. This will include, but not limited to: web pages, ad copy, email campaigns, marketing campaigns of different scales, print, scripts, and social media content. The ideal candidate has a passion for writing, works well under pressure and can meet multiple deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm creative copy that inspires, tells a story, and motivates, including, but not limited to: large scale campaign ideas, specific executions for websites, mobile and web apps, social initiatives, broadcast, print, all 360 channels
  • Develop, draft, review, and edit clear, concise and engaging content for multiple brands, channels and campaigns
  • Make content recommendations based on brand strategy
  • Regularly produce creative copy for all social media channels, brands, email campaigns, company landing pages, etc.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with department heads to generate innovative ideas

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or corresponding certification/diploma in English, Communications, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years creating content in a marketing setting
  • 3+ years copywriting and ad copy experience
  • Ability to work well in both a team or independent environment
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of social platforms, video content, broadcast, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of the creative process from conception to execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with creating content for brands of all niches
  • Ability to think outside of the box to create innovating copy to drive brand awareness
  • Excellent and demonstrated expertise in writing, copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking
  • Must have a portfolio and writing samples that demonstrates usage of campaigns with bigger picture thinking
